The founder of Real Estate Helping Hand is Kevin Backes. He has been involved in the real estate industry for 18 years in titles insurance, marketing, sales and finally procuring his Real Estate Brokerage license. His single biggest “flaw” is not being a salesperson. He does not care about sales awards, meeting quotas or becoming wealthy. He simply wants to help people get where they want to be in a manner that benefits them at the highest level.
Kevin wanted to see if it was possible to put the absolute best real estate professionals in a network setting to provide the ultimate area expertise, ultimate professional experience and ultimate big hearts. The initial phase was to target some the best agents in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley and ask them a simple question – Are you willing to reduce your commission and still provide your very best service to Buyers and Sellers? Kevin was excited to find out several great agents were happy to help at a reduced rate.
The next step was to see if the local lenders and escrow folks were open to reducing their standard fees and still provide the best service to the clients. Once again, Kevin was ecstatic to see his vision of superior service and knowledge at reduced fees for the benefit of the client coming to fruition. It is his goal to expand this program throughout Southern California.
